Our Opportunity
In Migori County, Kenya, over 500,000 children are under 15, yet half are not enrolled in school, reinforcing a cycle of poverty. Tuition fees and uniform costs make education unattainable for many families struggling to meet basic needs like food, shelter, and clean water. With 67% of the population living below the poverty line, children are often forced into labor instead of attending school, despite education being a recognized human right. The HOPA Frier Academy aims to change that.

“Your support is crucial. Every brick, every book, and every pencil will be a testament to the collective efforts of all those who believe in this mission. Together, we can build a brighter future for these children, one filled with opportunity, dignity, and the joy of learning.”
-Delta Ryan, Take Heart Founder

Our Impact
Hopa Frier Academy will create a lasting impact on the surrounding community by providing educational opportunities for 250 children annually, from preschool through Ninth Grade. This initiative not only enhances the lives of local families but also lays the groundwork for a thriving partnership within the community. Moreover, the construction of the academy will generate over 100 jobs during the building phase, along with 30 permanent positions for dedicated school personnel and instructors, fostering economic growth and stability in the area.
